In 2015, musician Michelle Soinne was working in the fashion industry whilst playing the odd gig with friends in her spare time. 

 

On a whim, and with a yen to make something, she nervously signed up to a single pottery lesson at Winchcombe pottery under the tutelage of manager and master potter Matt Grimmitt. That lesson was followed by another, and then another, and Michelle realised she had found a new calling. 

 

Before long she was renting space at Winchcombe Pottery to make slip glazed earthenware and starting to sell her wares at markets.
